Fred Swaniker is the Founder and CEO of Sand Technologies, a global physical AI company harnessing AI and data to solve complex challenges across healthcare, infrastructure, water, energy, and connectivity. He also leads the African Leadership Group, an ecosystem of organisations including ALX, which has trained over 330,000 data and AI professionals across Africa. Named by TIME as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, he earned his MBA from Stanford and has been honoured as a WEF Young Global Leader and TED Fellow.
